Wilmington, DE—RotoMetrics recently completed die cutting test runs using TYVEK Brillion that showed RotoMetrics die cutting technology as one of the best solutions for both unsupported and pressure sensitive synthetic substrate processing.
“We, and many of our customers, have run TYVEK successfully for many years. Therefore, we only tested TYVEK Brillion, which is a fairly new addition to the TYVEK product line,” said Steve Lee, Vice President/Director of Technical Support for RotoMetrics. “Both TYVEK and TYVEK Brillion can be successfully converted. It’s a matter of precision tooling that includes a die station in good working order with pressure gauges, bearer wipers, lubrication and a smooth anvil roll to provide optimal results.”

TYVEK brand protective material is selected for synthetic substrate applications because it is tough yet soft, lightweight and highly printable. It resists water, most chemicals, heat, cold, and rough handling but can be stitched, perforated, die cut and coated.
